Mr. John W. Herbert, Jr., Esq. is the Founder and President of BCP. Mr. Herbert has over thirty-five years of legal, commercial mortgage banking and corporate banking underwriting experience. He has held Officer level positions with Wells Fargo Realty Finance, Bank of America International Realty & Finance, SunTrust Mortgage, SouthTrust Bank, and Florida Bond & Mortgage. During his career, Mr. Herbert has underwritten in excess of $2.5 Billion of commercial real estate finance transactions for both corporate-owned Facilities and Investment Properties.

Projects and Properties include a $40 Million Mixed Use Redevelopment bond offering, a $23 Million Senior Debt credit facility for a New Markets Tax Credit urban redevelopment project, a $750 million Aviation roll-up, a $350 Million construction and permanent loan for a Proton Therapy facility for a major Investment-Grade rated U.S. University, a $20 Million refinance for the Headquarters Facility for an Investment-Grade rated manufacturing Company, a $25 Million permanent loan for the Manufacturing Facilities of a major Unrated West Coast audio equipment manufacturer, over $100 Million of permanent and acquisition financing for Agricultural properties and an $18 Million permanent loan for a Historic Tax Credit Multifamily rehab Project and numerous others.​

Mr. Herbert received his BA Degree from the University of Colorado in 1972, his JD Degree from Golden Gate University in 1975, and his Masters in Real Estate Degree from the University of Florida in 2000. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1976 and is currently an Inactive Member. Mr. Herbert is a member of the University of Florida Real Estate Advisory Board, the Urban Land Institute and the Mortgage Bankers Association. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the non-profit Florida House Institute that is based in Sarasota, Florida.

Fred Beles moved to Sarasota from Kalamazoo, Michigan after an extensive career in upper management with Auto Industry Manufacturing facilities. After arriving in Sarasota in 1984, he entered the real estate market in general real estate sales. Three years later he was designated as one of the top sale people in the area. He has served as an agent, broker, manager, trainer, and consultant to the industry over the past 35 years. Fred recently spoke at the Dolphin Center in Orlando to a large group of real estate investors that traveled from throughout the world to learn of current real estate opportunities in Florida.

Since opening Capital Real Estate Enterprises in January of 2011, Fred has developed the company to include The Florida Referral Group which is recognized as one of the largest referral brokerages in Florida. Fred’s specialty is dealing with residential properties as well as commercial investment packages for investors, whom have come to depend on his knowledge and experience to help them complete a successful transaction.
